Admission Policy Candidates and those conducting the tests must follow and assist in implementing all of the below mentioned admission policies while taking or administering an assessment test at any ACTIVE Test Centers.
Candidates must be present at the test center at least 15 minutes before the scheduled appointment and complete the sign-in procedure.
Should the candidate arrive 15 minutes later than the commencement of the scheduled test, it would be considered a ‘no show’ on their part and no refund shall be given to them.
Test candidates must bring and produce their credentials (personal identification bearing a photograph and signature).
No recording devices such as paper/pencil, cameras, PDAs, computers, or communication devices such as cell phones, or pagers would be admissible to the premise.
Test candidates must not communicate with other candidates in the premise during authorized test breaks.
Before the start of the exam, candidates must give consent for the terms of the non-disclosure agreement (NDA) presented to them by the centre authorities.
Test candidates must not take any exam content out of the testing area and must not reproduce the same outside of the testing area.
Test candidates must abide by the terms of the retake policy.
Any violation of the aforementioned rules may cause candidates to lose their chance of appearing for the exam and/or lose the certification. Upon a serious defiance, candidate may be considered ineligible for any further certification.
Please Note: In case of an unforeseen event of the computer showing an error condition or stopping to altogether respond, while the candidate is still taking the test, exam conduction would not be possible for the particular candidate. Should the candidate experience any such situation, they must immediately notify the ACTIVE Authorised Testing Center (AATC) administrator for the restart of the exam. When the computer is restarted and/or the error condition is resolved, administrator would be required to re-launch the software and the examinee will select the "In-Progress" exam option. Software would retain the test progress and the time remaining up to the termination point and candidate shall resume from there on.
If you wish to reschedule your exam appointment, you must do so at least 24 hours prior to the appointment. Rescheduling the exam less than 24 hours before an exam appointment shall attract a same-day forfeit of exam fee. Exam fees are due for no-shows.
If a candidate does not achieve a pass score on an exam the first time, they must wait at least 24 hours before reappearing for the exam.
If a candidate does not achieve a pass score the second time, they would be required to wait for at least 48 hours before retaking.
For each subsequent exam retake, a 2day gap shall be imposed.
There is no annual limit on the number of attempts on the same exam.
If a candidate achieves a passing score in exam, but they wish to better their score, they may retake the exam as per policy.
Cancellation Policy Should a candidate wish for cancellation of the appointment, the same must be requested for at least 24 hours prior to the exam. Cancellation thereafter, would be considered as ‘no-show’ and will be subject to forfeit exam fee.
Exam Scoring Policy
ACTIVE certification exams are intended to assess/upgrade a candidate’s skills on individual basis, rather than in relation to another person or group. Although, a summary statistics regarding each exam is made, ACTIVE shall not be obliged to make public, any information about a relevant point of comparison.
In the interest of conducting the test with complete security, ACTIVE distributes multiple versions of its exams, each with different content and, accordingly, different passing standards and number of questions. Due measures are taken to ensure that the standard of each version is maintained based on knowledge, skill, and ability. For each exam, passing scores shall be prescribed by the expert on “minimal competence” level.
To identify the passing standard for a particular exam, please refer to the exam score report provided upon completion. The exam score report is also accessible within a test candidate’s ACTIVE profile.
